ISC keeps American football fans safe
When up to 12,000 American football fans visited London’s Trafalgar Square for a free promotional event this autumn, crowd management specialist Integrated Security Consultants (ISC) was responsible for ensuring their safety. The event was organised by the USA’s National Football League (NFL) in the run up to the match between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears at Wembley Stadium. The following day, a ‘Fan Rally’ was attended by some of the team members, with performances by the cheerleaders, the Chicago Bears’ drummers and NFL Hall of Fame members, plus a display o... Suspicious signal sources more easily pinpointed thanks to Link Microtek's latest Interference and Direction Analyser
Police, security personnel or prison staff now can rely on the new IDA-3106 interference and direction analyser (IDA) from Link Microtek to quickly identify and locate the source of any suspicious transmissions in or near to a particular building.

The instrument is capable of analysing broadband signals and has a resolution bandwidth of up to 32MHz, which is believed to be unique for a hand-held unit. Its fast scan speed of 12GHz/s allows it to captu... [ more ]
