Service Manager Fire & Security
| Job description: | An independent business working throughout the UK with a broad cross section of customers delivering security, safety and building management technologies including design and implementation through to whole life system support. Our portfolio includes CCTV and IP camera network systems, electronic access control, fire detection, intrusion detection plus associated and infill technologies. We have significant experience in multi-discipline applications and partner closely with many of the leading global product manufacturers and developers. Where appropriate these partnerships also include formal accreditation in recognition of our continued investment in providing and maintaining the necessary resources, technical skills and delivery expertise needed to design, install and support their products and applications effectively. We require a Service Manager who possesses recognised industry specific technical expertise and practical experience of delivery combined with the following:- Customer facing, business development skills Planning and organisational skills Leadership and people management skills Written and verbal communication skills 2-3 years service delivery management experience 5+ years in this sector Outline details of the role:- Generate service revenue through sales and commercial activity Account and customer relationship management Develop and implement department goals and objectives Manage, support and coach Service Technicians and the Service Control Team Monitor and measure the performance of Service Technicians via field audits Monitor and review the delivery of service/preventative maintenance activity and ensure customer contractual compliance. 40 hours per week, however a degree of flexibility is required, combined with the need to travel |
